Bersas Discos #7
Bersas Discos have been making noise for a few years now. The record label essentially popularized the new cumbia sound that’s getting play all across the country in all types of clubs. The Bersas Discos sound has also been a primary influence on moombahton, which has now eclipsed cumbia in popularity in the States. But that’s all subtext to the point at hand… the awesome new Bersas Discos #7. DJ Negro and El Nosotros take the reigns on this edition and it’s a banger. Not a bad tune on it, and there are even two moombahton joints, “Tu Cucu” and “Girl.” My personal pick is “Sabor A Gaita,” a collab tune by both producers, and a thick cumbia remix that’s aimed straight at the club.
